Présentation
Dédiée à Sarina Esmailzadeh et, plus largement, à la situation des femmes iraniennes, Song of the Future aborde un sujet dramatique avec l’habillage d’une ballade pop/folk. Le titre s’appuie sur des ficelles déjà largement éprouvées et un texte qui ne brille pas par sa subtilité. La composition, en revanche, se montre efficace et rythmée, clairement calibrée pour le grand public, avec un refrain simple mais accrocheur.
