The Troubles
Présentation
The Troubles est probablement la plus belle composition de Songs Of Innocence, un morceau délicat et superbe en clôture d’album, maniant avec subtilité les cordes et la voix de Lykke Li. Alors que celle-ci n’était venue enregistrer qu’un passage seule en studio, elle fut rappelée pour une seconde session par Bono, trouvant qu’elle sublimait le morceau. Le duo fonctionne en effet à merveille. U2 y apparaît tout en finesse et en maîtrise et signe un titre fort sur tous les plans, dont le seul défaut est finalement de ne pas durer assez longtemps. On aurait aimé que le groupe le défende en live.
