Présentation
Placée à la toute fin de l’album et dotée d’un mix plutôt sobre, The Electric Co n’est pas vraiment mise en valeur sur Boy. C’est en live que ce titre prendra toute sa dimension et se révèlera être un vrai dynamiteur de concert, souvent enchaîné au mini-morceau « The Cry ». Son retour dans les setlists en 2005 lors du Vertigo Tour après vingt ans d’absence, puis plus sporadiquement en 2015, fut un vrai bonheur. A chaque fois une belle occasion pour Bono de montrer qu’il sait cracher de l’eau et jeter sa bouteille sur son public.
